North East British Blue Club - Herd Competition 2018

The North East British Blue Club held their Annual Christmas Dinner, and this year, incorporated the Awards Presentation for the first Herd Competition at The Kyte Hotel, Darrington on December 3rd 2018.

It was a very successful evening and Herd Competition Judge, Mr Robin Ivory, expressed his appreciation for the eleven herds from the North East Region and was very impressed at how the breed has improved over the years. Robin and Pauline were presented with a £50 Voucher to spend at Betty’s Tearooms as a thank you for giving up his time over the summer to judge the competition. We were delighted that Andy and Steph Ryder were able to join us and also Graham Coates, judge at our 2018 Annual Calf Show, made the long journey for the evening, as well as over 50 members and guests. The evening was well organised and our thanks go to Stephen Hough for his efforts.
