Judge Kevin Watret, Annan, Dumfriesshire put up as his Champion, ‘Croftends Elite ET’, bred and exhibited by JE Bellas & Son. A son of Empire D’Ochain out of Croftends Belle, finds a new home with Garthbeg Farms, Perth, at the top sale price of 4,800gns.

The Reserve Champion went to ‘Oxcroft Elwin ET’ from J & J Green, another son of Empire D’Ochain out of ‘Oxcroft Another Nymph’ at 3,600gns to D & M Templeton, Saline, Fife. ‘Oxcroft Emperor’, also out of the same stable, realised 3,600gns to Monzie Farms, Gilmerton, Crieff.

Isle of Tiree consignors, A MacInnes, selling ‘Ruaig Delboy ET’, at 3,000gns to A Graham & Sons, Bathgate, West Lothian.

Other leading prices came from ‘Oxcroft Elijah’ – 3,000gns to JA Taylor, Biggar, Lanarkshire
‘Auchenlay Eros’ – out of the Paterson stable, a son of ‘Almeley Webster’, out of ‘Auchenlay Bizza’, being sold to W Martin at Falkirk for 2500gns
