Thainstone Spectacular - Aberdeen
Wednesday 6th September 2006

Picking up the overall unhaltered championship at the 2006 Spectacular were A. & J. Nairn, Clashnoir, Braes of Glenlivet, Ballindalloch with a 382kg Belgian Blue cross heifer by Dompture Et De Fooz. The home-bred champion was bought for £1,600 on behalf of R. J. Wright, Somerset and Alastair Nairn (left) is pictured receiving the Dr Cooper Perpetual Rosebowl from David Douglas, head of rural business with Spectacular sponsor Clydesdale Bank.

Janet Green of the British Blue Cattle Society presents the Perpetual Trophy, £74 and a rosette to Alastair Nairn of Clashnoir, Braes of Glenlivet, Ballindalloch.
