Paulern Herd Farm WalkAbout 20 members and friends joined us for a farm walk at the Paulern Herd in Gloucestershire to meet Ernie Hemmings’ cattle.
After a wonderful hot lunch with Ernie and Lisa, we were given a tour of the farm. It was a fine day, and warm enough for a tractor ride around the farm.
We were delighted at the quality of cattle on the farm and surprised at the rolling and hilly countryside that greeted us. Many of us expected flat fields and this was not the case.
We enjoyed a wonderful day, good food, good company and excellent livestock. |
