Balzer, Seaview & Bettws Herds Farm Walk

On Sunday 27th August 2006 members and friends of the Welsh Club met on the Cardiganshire coast to visit the herds of Andrew & Ingrid Phillips, Elfed & Sheena Thomas and Rhys & Gill Bellis.

At the Bettws Herd well-known showman Dai Thomas gave members a clipping demonstration.

Following this a group of pedigree heifers were judged and the reasons for the placing given by Gill Evans. This exercise took place with the view of encouraging younger members to exhibit their cattle at future agricultural shows.

The Club AGM took place after enjoying a BBQ organised by Gill, Sheena and Ingrid, the meat being supplied by Golwg- y- Mor Coastal Welsh Beef

We enjoyed a wonderful day in a beautiful area and saw some excellent cattle.
