At the annual prize show & sale of suckled calves at Kirkby Stephen Mart, on Monday 3rd November, the champion was a British Blue Heifer, sired by Philipper De Remichampagne, which sold for £1150. [report]

There was a lively trade for power and style at Dungannon on Saturday 25th October 2008 with a full clearout of bulls and the centre record being smashed at 7,300gns. [report]
