Rhymil Blue Beauties Top at 6,500gns

The Rhymil Blue Beauties sold to a top of 6,500gns at Welshpool.

Rhymil Madonna

Rhymil Madonna, a blue and white May 2017 born heifer, by Bringlee Blackstar is out of Rhymil Highness, who is full sister to multi prize-winning, Rhymil Kylie. Taking Madonna home was Henry Jewitt, Barnard Castle.

Rhymil Limited Edition

R Burniston, Hartwith, Harrogate, paid 4,500gns for Rhymil Limited Edition- a striking blue roan April 2016 born daughter of Wilodge Ulex, out of Paulern Audrey. She stood Junior Female Champion at this year’s Royal Welsh Show.

Rhymil Imogen

Next in the price ratings was Rhymil Imogen at 3,000gns. This flashy young, black and white cow, is by the noted sire, Cromwell Fendt and out of Lakeview Dancer (mother of Rhymil Kylie). Imogen herself has had a successful show career and the successful purchasers were Nigel and Candy Jenkinson, Shebbear, Devon, to join their Dymond Blue Herd.

Also selling at 3,000gns was a recipient carrying a Gitan Du PTi’T Mayeur/Lakeview Dancer embryo. Successful purchasers here were Stephen and Sarah Hough, Pontefract, West Yorkshire

Tanat Legend

Heading the collective sale at 4,500gns was Tanat Legend from Wyn Jones. This almost black bull was sired by Phenomene De Martinpre and out of Tanat Ebony, he found a new home with MJ Dyke & Sons, Llandrindod Wells, Powys. From the same stable and selling for 3,000gns was Tanat Linda, a black and white daughter of Grommit Hof Ter Zilverberg and out of Tamhorn Enchanted. She sold to AJ Owen, Newtown, Powys.
