Annual Prize Show & Sale of Suckled Calves at Kirkby Stephen

Harrison & Hetherington held their Annual Prize Show & Sale of Suckled
Calves at Kirkby Stephen Mart, on Monday 3rd November.
Messrs D & C E Marston, Easegill Head had an excellent day, winning four
first prizes and the overall champion. The champion, a British Blue Heifer,
sired by Philipper De Remichampagne and selling for £1150 to Mr M Bulmer.
Top price went to Messrs K A Brown & Son, Asby Hall whose Reserve Champion
sold at £2750 to Messrs Dent, Bolton, This heifer calf was sired by
the British Bred bull, Boothlow Uzo.
